Muscat srivaishnavas celebrate Sri Onnana swamy thirunakshatram-Oct 2007

Srivaishnavas in muscat, celebrated 'HH Sri Vanamamalai onnan jeeyar thirunakshtram' .During the celebrations Thiru pallandu,Kanninum chirutambu,Koil thiruvaimozhi and Swamy Namalwar's 7 th thiruvaimozhi 'Nootra Noombu'(towards Srivanamamalai perumal) and sri ramanuja nootranthadhi & Thadi panjagam /yajurathavimsathi were chanted.Celebrations concluded with sathumurai.

 

Thothadri Mutt shisyas join hands with other srivaishanvas to celebrate azhvar/acharya Thirunakshatrams and spread Ramanuja darisanam to not only elders but also children through weekly classes

I am one of the frequent visiter of this site and also adiyen vanamamalai shisyan.. Very happy that after some time the site is getting refreshed.

We would like to share some informations . Opportunity to sri vaishvanas living in Muscat or visiting muscat to attend "Alwars thirnakchatrams celebrations".

We are a small group (approx 50 families) of srivaishnavas in Muscat celebrating all "Alwar thirunakchatrams" yearly. We also celebrate monthly thirunakchatrams like thiruvathirai & thirumoolam at the temple here. During the celebration we chant
divyaprabantham and followed by sathumurai as per our sampradhayam.

Here we also conduct divyaprabantham sandhai(class) weekly twice. More than 20-25 srivaishnavas attend for this class. Weekly class conducted for srivaishnava children to teach thirupavai, thiru pallandu , Yethirajavamshi etc...

We request you to dessiminate this information to srivaishnavas benefit. We welcome all srivaishnavas visiting Muscat to attend the celebrations.
